Correct.  Here's one uploaded to my ftp area, and since I'm just posting it, and not adding it as an attachment, it's not watermarked...



EDIT: BTW, if it's not clear, this is the image we're currently using as a watermark (it's open for debate...I'm just using this 'cuz it was easy to create):

Oh, I forgot to mention...you can now mark individual albums "as seen," as well as individual pages of the Unseen area, in addition to marking everything as seen.

In case someone's still around that might actually care, I updated AeMe to v1.3.  This allows us to post embedded Google Map Images.

Once you have your map, look at the section to the right that says Print, Share, Link.  Click on the Link link to get the code.  You'll see two...use the top one that says "Paste link in email or IM."  That's all you need to do.

Here's an example for Aberdeen, Scotland...

No, I don't expect it to work for zooming or "modified" views...just the basics.  Right now, I've only tested the Map & Sat views...I have no idea if the Ter or Earth views will work.

Well, we're stuck with AeMe the way it is, even after SMF2 comes out...there's more bad blood between Nao and the SMF Team, and he's now completely dropped support AND development of AeMe.

Will he change his mind in the future, or sell it off to someone else?  Who knows.  If, after we eventually upgrade to SMF2, AeMe doesn't work, it'll be removed.  If we're lucky, it'll work as it is now, just with no future updates.  Which is fine with me...it'll just mean more time for me to try and figure out any glitches.

Or, we could go to another album Mod.  Unfortunately, none of the others do as much as AeMe, nor do they allow for anything other than photos.  So, what'd be the point, right?

We'll see, I guess.  Probably sometime early next year...unless something drastic happens and SMF2 suddenly goes gold...

Well, some potential good news...Nao's girlfriend has suggested to him to turn AeMe into a paid-for Mod.  I'm cool with that, since it's the most popular SMF Mod in history.  Plus, since we've already paid for the Foxy! add-on, we'd get it for free until that subscription runs out.  Then it'd only be like $20-$30 annually.

So, right now we're all waiting to see what he decides to do.

In other news, I upgraded AeMe to revision 266, which SHOULD fix some of the GMap issues.  Lemme know if there are still problems with it.

Good news!  Nao has decided that all future releases of AeMe will be Commercial.  Since we already paid for a year's worth of support for Foxy!, we're set for awhile.  I'll take care of annually renewing it.

AeMe v2b1 combines AeMe and Foxy!, and I have that installed.  Since watermarking may be a future feature, I've uninstalled Watermark.light...I don't even know if it'd work with AeMe 2.
