Well, as I mentioned in another thread, I recently ordered a Wii, along with the Wii Fit Plus package. The latter has yet to arrive, however, the former arrived yesterday afternoon. The previous day, two games arrived:
Big Beach Sports and
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The former sucks, so don't waste your money on it. As for Zelda, I can see why Tom became so enthralled by it...it's quite like a single-player version of FFXI, which I know he loved.
The Wii also came with
Wii Sports. Besides the basic games (
Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf, & Boxing), it also has a training area (
we unlocked all the games in a single evening), and a fitness guide. The fitness guide takes three random training programs, compares how well you do, and then calculates your "Wii Age."
Yesterday, I had the lowest age of
28...the others got 44, 46, and 73. This morning, when I went to do today's "exercises," I was rated a
23...20 is the lowest age you can be. Not bad for a guy that just turned 43, huh?

Anyway, it was quite fun creating our Mii characters, and goofing around with the various games...seems all those years playing sports are paying off for the tennis and baseball games. While my family used to bowl a lot, I never really got into it. Consequentially, I never learned to throw a curve ball...I throw a straight ball when I bowl, and it's a handicap in the Wii Bowling game. Oh well. If I keep getting aged in the 20's, I guess I can live with it.

Oh...I forgot to mention...
In the Boxing game, your first opponent is "Ryan." He has a light-brown jawline-beard and receding hair. It was quite fun knocking him out.
