I'm sorry: I was just going by what Natasha & Boris told me.  My apologies to both you and Bullwinkle.

It was you who rigged up the 4th structure during the opening ceremonies wasn't it? ;)

Yeah, I didnt get to watch it but it looked awesome from what I saw of it. And from what Gretzky was saying today they really handled it very nicely keeping things calm and not freaking out. Could have been a major disaster. Im impressed at how it turned out.

Im a big fan of the Olympics and am happy to see it in BC. Whistler/Vancouver are beautiful

Ugh.  I got hit with something today...hot and cold chills; shortness of breath; and dizziness to the point of almost falling out of the shower.  I sure hope this is a 24-hour bug...this suxors.  :-&

Spent the day in the dentists.. Have 2 problem teeth right next to each other.. One was abscessed. Just finished up a round of strong antibiotics today. Had a root canal done on that tooth this morning and went to see an oral surgeon about getting the other one taken out. Well, during the consult, it was determined that my wisdom teeth also need to go as they were beginning to become a problem and would eventually cause bad things to happen. We decided to go ahead and get all 5 of them taken out (4 wisdom teeth and the problem tooth) at the same time. Most likely going to get that done on Friday, since I will be able to take Friday off work since I was originally scheduled off but moved it up to today as I thought the tooth was being pulled as well as the root canal.

Gonna really suck but I guess it needs to be done.. Financially speaking.. With my insurance, I paid $341 (out of $802) for the root canal, paid $50 for the office visit today, and told I would be due $599 (out of $1409) when I go in for the multiple extractions.. Then after all that is done I am going to have to go back to my general dentist and have a bridge put in to cover the root canal and extracted tooth. Not sure how much that will cost but my insurance has a $1500 maximum per year they will pay so doing the math, I will be responsible for a good portion of that most likely. All that is pending on my insurance paying the full amount that I was told today since all the dentists are not in Metlife's network. (They compare prices to in network dentists and if the network ones are cheaper they  will only pay the cheaper amount and I will get billed by the dentist for the unpaid portion)...

Fun..

Insurance is a racket, albeit a good one.  I hate it when you pay and pay and pay and when you go to use it, they tell you they won't pay for this reason or that.  YOU TOOK MY MONEY  ::censored:: S COVER MY STUFF!!!

I did all of my wisdom teeth at once...I HIGHLY recommend using an IV drip to get knocked out.  I don't remember a thing until I came to, and then I basically slept for 2 days.

Good luck, Beej!

Yeah, I believe they said it will be an IV... I was kinda hesitant to have all of them come out at the same time but I figured I'm going to be knocked out in the first place to get the original problem tooth out, may as well grab all of them rather than having to come back a couple of times and have to pay the anesthesia bill each time.... which at $448 a pop would add up quickly. It would be much cheaper in the long run to do them all at once, not to mention more convenient with having to take time off work to get it all done.
